Your ticket says Bangkok, but the airport code says DMK. You are arriving at Don Mueang. Instructions for Suvarnabhumi, its satellite terminal or its city train do not describe this arrival. Begin with the airport code and your actual incoming flight.
This guide covers an international arrival ending at DMK. If you have another flight, ask the airline about your connection route before entering the public area.
Confirm which arrival you have
AOT identifies Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic flights. A journey beginning abroad may still end with a domestic segment if you connected elsewhere in Thailand. Tell the person meeting you the flight that actually lands at DMK.
Save the local arrival date, operating flight, hotel address and meeting instructions. A driver booking that only says “Bangkok airport” needs clarification before travel.
Follow the international arrival stages
The official DMK guide separates applicable health checks, passport control, baggage collection, other relevant regulatory checks and customs. Follow current signs and officers' instructions. Check entry documents for your circumstances before departure; an airport assistance booking does not replace them.
If you have booked a meeting before one of these stages, open the latest voucher before continuing. Do not borrow an exit number from someone else's arrival story.
Resolve baggage questions before the exit
Find your operating flight on the baggage display. Check the suitcase tag and count the whole group's belongings, including separately returned items. If something is missing or damaged, ask for the airline's baggage service before leaving reclaim.
One adult can handle the enquiry while another updates transport and keeps the group together. Keep the message factual rather than predicting a five-minute wait without information.
Choose transport after identifying the destination
AOT lists taxis, ride-hailing, airport buses, rail, rental vehicles and other transport options. Compare the current boarding arrangements and service hours with your arrival time, luggage and destination. Airport transport listings do not establish that every option operates throughout the night.
For a booked vehicle, confirm the terminal, meeting landmark, contact and waiting terms. Say when bags are collected. The scheduled landing time does not tell the driver when you will reach the public area.
